Voluto dagli stessi committenti, per un poeta austriaco, nello stesso anno (1891) e realizzato dallo stesso scultore - Karl Schwerzek (1848-1919) – del Lenau (post precedente) il monumento ad Anastasius Grün (1808-1876) ne è evidentemente il pendant. Le due erme sono infatti speculari nei giardini di Schillerplatz e presentano l’identico festone dorato in contrasto col candore del marmo.
The Anastasius Grün (1808-1876) monument has been entrust by the same purchase, in the same year (1891) and realized by the same sculptor - Karl Schwerzek (1848-1919) – of the Lenau’s erma (see the previous post); in fact it’s its pendant. The two erma has been speculated in the garden of Schillerplatz and they present the identical platen ornament in contrast with the bright white of the marble.
