Il monumento a Carlo Cattaneo, (1801-1869) patriota, politico – federalista convinto - e direttore de Il Politecnico, è inaugurato il 23 giugno 1901. L’autore è ancora una volta l’influente Ettore Ferrari, scultore romano e massone attivo su tutto il territorio nazionale, che per la fusione si affida alla consolidata ditta Crescenzi di Roma.
The monument dedicated to Carlo Cattaneo, (1801-1869) patriot, politician – federalist – and director of the review “Il Politecnico”, has been inaugurated on 23 June 1901. The author is once again the powerful Ettore Ferrari, the Roman “massone” sculptor very present in the entire Italy, he has entrusted the fusion of the group at the well-known “Crescenzi” in Rome.
