Il monumento commemora il giovane miranese fucilato a soli diciannove anni: con grande teatralità, atta ad accentuare la drammaticità della vicenda, Murer (1922-1985) immortala il giovane con le braccia alzate, intento a schermare i proiettili fascisti.
The monument commemorates the young man from Mirano who was shot when he was only 19: with a great theatrical trick, also to enforce the drama of the story, Murer presents the boy with the arms in the air, while he’s trying to defends himself from the Fascist bullets.
