Dal lato opposto di Union Square H. Kirke Brown firma anche il bronzo di Lincoln (1809-1865) che – stante a figura intera - tiene stretta nella mano destra la proclamazione con cui pose fine alla schiavitù mentre con la sinistra trattiene il mantello al petto: l’ottima resa della gestualità e del panneggio è pari solo alla capacità introspettiva del ritratto.
In the opposite site of Union Square H. Kirke Brown signs also the bronze of Lincoln (1809-1865) who – standing in entire figure – held in his right hand the proclaim that abolished the slavery while the left one retains the mantle at the breast: the great result of the gesture and of the cloth is good as the introspective portrait.
