Pietro De Laurentiis (1920- 1991) scompone geometricamente le forme di una centrale elettrica in cui trasformatori, isolatori elettrici, tralicci e linee elettriche fanno da ponte tra due città ideali: il mondo dove gli uomini vivono – fatto di forme cubiche come gli edifici – e il luogo in cui si produce l’energia. Le due entità vivono assieme e si compenetrano fornendo un unico continuo, dove la città industriale si fonde con la città civile unendo drammaticità e liricità assieme. Pietro De Laurentiis (1920- 1991) deconstructs in geometrical forms an electric plant in which voltage transformers, electrical insulators, pylons and electrical cables become a bridge between two ideal cities: the world in which people live – in cubic forms as the buildings – and the place in which the energy has been produced. The two entities live together and penetrate themselves in a continuative solution, where the industrial city confounds itself whit the civil one.
