Venezia, Giardini della Biennale
Tra le “sculture” di maggior
interesse che Massimiliano Gioni ha selezionato per il suo Palazzo Enciclopedico – titolo di quest’ultima Biennale e, per una
volta, tema rispettato – vorrei segnalare le forme antropomorfe di Sarah Lucas,
inaspettatamente in bronzo dorato. Il padiglione internazionale propone l’ossessiva
ricostruzione delle 387 Houses of Peter Fritz; la macchina rieducativa di Eva Kotatkova, la rilettura
del quotidiano di Fischli & Weiss, le visioni notturne di Ron Nagle e il
monumento a Roma di Serra. Mostra imperdibile.
In a selection of sculptures that Massimiliano Gioni has included in his
Palazzo Enciclopedico – title of this
last Biennale and, for one time, a theme really respected – I’d like to spot
the anthropomorphic creations by Sarah Lucas, unexpectedly casted in golden
bronze. The international pavilion offers also the obsessive reconstruction of
the 387 Houses of
Peter Fritz; the re-educated machine by Eva Kotatkova, the
lecture of the everyday-life and common culture by Fischli & Weiss, the Ron
Nagle’s night visions and the tribute to Rome by Serra. Unmissable exhibition.
