Il busto che ritrae il celebre compositore
a cui è dedicato il conservatorio di Venezia si deve ad Ettore Cadorin: abile
scultore veneziano che ha imitato le fattezze dei busti settecenteschi. Coeva
(1905c.) anche la decorazione del soffitto di Vittorio Bressanin.
The portrait of the famous composer
Benedetto Marcello, in the Venetian conservatory, is due to Ettore Cadorin: the
sculptor has modelled a bust in a XVIII
century style. The decoration of the room – by Vittorio Bressanin – is quite coeval
to the monument (around 1905).
