Il monumento a colui che nel 1860 spese parole d’incoraggiamento per G. Garibaldi è realizzato da Lucien Pallez al termine della sua carriera artistica: magniloquente e con qualche inflessione tardo romantica come l’abbondanza del panneggio e la grande cetra il gruppo risulta comunque efficace.
