Giuseppe Dini (1820-1890) novarese di nascita si forma all’Accademia Albertina di Torino e si perfeziona a Roma presso Tenerani assorbendo le istanze del tardo Neoclassicismo romano ancora evidente in alcune scelte del Barbaroux come la severa espressione del volto, la posa composta e l’estrema definizione dell’abbigliamento. Il monumento al noto giurista è anticipato da due busti di Dini – il Parola (1873) e l’Audifreddi (1879) - per il Municipio cittadino.
Giuseppe Dini (1820-1890), born in Novara, had his first formation at the Turin Academy then he specialized himself in Rome with Tenerani assorbendo the last Neoclassicism issue that are present also in some details of the Barbaroux as the severe face expression, the compose position and the extreme definition of the dress. The monument to the well-known Giurist has been anticipated by two busts – the Patriota (1873) and the Audifreddi (1879) – for the town Municipal building.
