Ancora un monumento che negli anni sessanta propone modalità stilistiche in auge nel dopoguerra. Il monumento ai caduti d’Imperia di Audagna ha però un’efficacia maggiore; lo aiuta in questo il soggetto, meno distante temporalmente, e con una propria codificazione molto radicata. Il modello evidente è Eugenio Baroni; infatti, a un primo sguardo, mai lo si daterebbe al 1964!
Another monument that in the 60’s presents the stylistic issues in auge in the period after the second world war. But the monument to the Imperia Fallens by Audagna has a stronger impact; it has been helped in this sense by the subject, less far in the past, and with a very depp-rooted own codification. The model is clearly Eugenio Baroni; in fact, at a first sight, nobody could propose a date at the 1964!
