I glut, letteralmente eccesso ma anche saturazione, sono le splendide sculture create da Robert Rauschenberg assemblando e manipolando gli oggetti più disparati, principalmente resti industriali. Mantenendo sempre alta la sensibilità cromatica, nonché estetica, l’artista statunitense ha dato autonomia tridimensionale ai suoi combine, sia nei gluts appesi alle pareti che a quelli che si “reggono sulle proprie gambe”, come il ventilatore accartocciato o la bicicletta rovesciata. The gluts, literary surfeit but also saturation, are the great sculptures created by Robert Rauschenberg who has assembled and manipulated the most different objects, mainly industrial rests. Keeping the usual high chromatic sensibility, as well as esthetical, the American artist has transformed his combines, both in the gluts still handled on the wall than in which are able to stands on his own legs, as the blower or the bike.
