Il 6 giugno scorso, dopo il recente restauro, la Partigiana di Murer è tornata a galleggiare di fronte ai Giardini di Venezia così come nel 1961 l’aveva pensata Carlo Scarpa. Il monumento, che in una prima versione di Leoncillo venne distrutta da una bomba fascista, è il simbolo delle donne che vennero gettate in laguna durante la Resistenza.
The past 6th June, after the restoration, the Partigiana by Murer has return to floating on the water in front of the Venice Giardini as in 1961 was thought by Carlo Scarpa. The monument, that in its first version was due to Leoncillo and was destroyed by a bomb during the Fascism, is the symbol of the women who were sacrificed in the lagoon during the Resistenza.
