Il monumento alla cavalleria
tedesca è un’opera della tarda maturità dello scultore secessionista Bernhard Bleeker. La collocazione, di fronte
all’austero edificio dell’Archivio di Stato Bavarese, lo ammanta di un’aura
metafisica. Da non dimenticare che la formazione di De Chirico avviene proprio
a Monaco di Baviera!
The monument to the Bavarian Cavalry is a work of the maturity by the
Secessionist sculptor Bernhard Bleeker. His position, in front of the austere
building of the Bavarian Archives, wraps the monument in a metaphysical
atmosphere. Don’t forget that De Chirico’s formation has been in Munich!
