un monumento che, svelato nella primavera del 1900, si guadagnò la copertina de
“L’Illustration” (7 aprile 1900). Il gesso, sempre del 1900, si conserva presso
il Musée des Beaux-Arts di Nîmes.
The face of Alphonse Daudet has lost a part of his
expressivity. It’s an important monument by Alexandre Falguière, who gained the
cover of “L’Illustration” (7 April 1900). The plaster, modelled in 1900, is in
the Beaux-Arts Museum in Nîmes.
