Maman – Louise Bourgeois

In occasione della mostra dedicatale dalla Tate Modern, Louise Bourgeois (25 dicembre 1911) geniale artista francese, ha riproposto il grande ragno, intitolato ironicamente “mamma” che nel 2000 occupava la sala delle turbine del museo e che espose anche all’esterno del Guggenheim di Bilbao. Così l’alto insetto – oltre 10 metri - si interpone nell’asse visivo tra la Tate e la chiesa di Saint-Paul. Grazie a Domenica Maruzzo per la foto.

In the occasion of the exhibition dedicated to Louise Bourgeois (25 December 1911) by the Tate Modern, the genial French artist has presented the big spider, ironically titled “mum” that in 2000 took up the turbine hall and that has been exposed also at the Guggenheim museum in Bilbao.
