Inaugurato il 15 settembre 1878 il monumento di Monza segue di un anno il marmo che lo stesso Crippa (1838-1895) svela a Roma nella Salita del Pincio. Per un altezza complessiva di 3,25 metri, il gruppo di Monza ritrae il monarca a figura intera, in abiti militari con la mano sinistra sull’elsa della spada e la destra che indica lo Statuto. The monument in Monza, that was inaugurated on 15 September 1878, comes just after a year the marble that always Crippa (1838-1895) unveiled in the Pincio Rise in Rome. With a high of 3,25 meters, the group in Monza portrayed the king in entire figure, with the military uniform and with the left hand on the hilt of the sword and the right one on the Italian Statute.
