Da un’idea e sotto la supervisione di Urs Fischer gli
studenti dell’Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia hanno occupato lo spazio del
chiostro con alcune sculture di creta: gatti veneziani, anche
sovradimensionati, il leone marciano – simbolo della città – e alcuni dettagli
delle mani erano i soggetti indicati. Come nelle celebri opere in cera
dell’artista svizzero, anche queste sculture sono soggette all’usura delle intemperie
e destinate a liquefarsi.
Under the
supervision of Urs Fischer, the students of the Academy of Venice has realized
some sculptures in the ancient courtyard of the school: the subjects were Venetian
cats, the lion of the city and some overshadowed details of human hand. As the well-known
wax sculptures by the Swiss artist, the destiny of these pieces is the destruction
under the natural meteorological agents.
