La dimora in cui Vincenzo Vela
si stabilì all’apice della carriera, è uno dei più interessanti musei dell’Ottocento
europeo: la collezione, composta da oltre 5000 pezzi, è formata in buona parte
dalla gipsoteca dell’artista stesso, affiancata dai gessi animalier del fratello – Lorenzo Vela – e dai dipinti del figlio,
Spartaco.

The villa where Vincenzo Vela established at the very peak of his career
is now one of the most interesting XIX century European museum: the 5000 pieces
collection has composed by the plaster cast gallery of the artist, then the animalier plaster of his brother Lorenzo
Vela, and the paintings of his son, Spartaco.
