Déboutonner la mode è un viaggio nel tempo, nella moda e nell’arte attraverso l’evoluzione del bottone: elemento decorativo ma anche oggetto simbolico e raramente semplice elemento del “vestire”. Un allestimento suggestivo presenta i bottoni in grandi scatole che ricordano quelle delle mercerie d’un tempo, o applicati ad abiti d’epoca, nei ritratti, nella fotografia e infine allineati in vetrine per consonanza cromatica.

Déboutonner la mode is trip in time, fashion and art by the evolution of the button: decorative element but also symbolic object and rarely just a part of the dress. A poetic set shows buttons in big cardboard boxes, as in the ancient haberdasher’s, or on the original dresses, in the portraits, in photos and displayed in chromatic lines behind a window.
